More Snowboarding Videos

This is by far the best part in a snowboard movie I’ve ever seen. Jeremy Jones riding spectacular lines in the wild backcountry dubbed to David Bowie’s Space Oddity. No wonder he got awarded the #1 Big Mountain Snowboarder 2009 by snowboarder magazine. Absinthe Films released Ready in 2009 (maybe 2008?) and as I watched it the first time, I was just starring at the screen speechless.

Publicis Mojo and Exit Films created for Coca Cola three documentary style advertisements for a campaign promoting the energy drink Burn.

The first one — Ride — shows skateboarders in Mexico City that were set to fire.

And finally Playground follows a young Philadelphia rapper, who creates beats with hitting random stuff around him.

The crux of our approach was to involve pre-existing communities in the creation and distribution of the key campaign assets –rather than the brand launching it on its own’, explains Micah Walker, executive creative director of Mojo Sydney. “Burn’s most influential audience are in large part creators themselves — performers, writers, documenters, editors and publishers within the communities we want to communicate with – so it was critical our films were the kinds of things they could appreciate. They had to be fresh.

Eight months before the official grand opening of the world’s largest building, Burj Khalifa, two insane guys did the jump. Dressed up as european construction engineers they climbed up 160 floors, waited till the sunrise, and set an incredible world record, by base dropping 650m in wingsuits. Enjoy the breathtaking flight!

I know, right now, there’s snowboard season, but what do you gonna do during summertime (despite Wakebaording)? Some guys finally made it happen: Snowboard the streets!

A Freebord makes  it possible to carve and slide, thanks to its special design featuring two additional wheels:

If I get the chance, I definitely would give it a try!
